Medium: Silver Leaf, Modeling Paste, Acrylic Paint, and Resin on Canvas. Size: 40"x82"x2.5"

Made with silver leaf and silver pigment on canvas. This is a heavy textured impasto style piece in which the barnacles and corals are sticking out of the canvas. The texture is sculpted with a palette knife and is about half an inch thick. The painting is partially coated with art resin to give it that underwater high sheen effect.
